Protease Inhibitor Cocktail I tablets inhibit a broad spectrum of serine, cysteine and metalloproteases as well as calpains. Due to the optimized composition of the tablets they show excellent inhibition effects and are therefore very well suited for the protection of proteins isolated from animal tissues, plants, yeast

and bacteria. Protease Inhibitor Cocktail I contains both irreversible and reversible protease inhibitors. The protease inhibitors of Protease Inhibitor Cocktail I do not form irreversible complexes with thiol (SH) groups of proteins.
