Notes:

MboII produces DNA fragments that have a single-base 3´ extension which are more difficult to ligate than blunt-ended fragments.This enzyme does not benefit from incubations over 1 hour. Visit \"Restriction Endonucleases-Survival in a Reaction\" for more information.MboII can remain bound to DNA after cutting and alter migration rate of DNA during electrophoresis. To disrupt binding, add SDS to a final concentration of 0.5% or purify DNA before electrophoresis.May exhibit Star Activity in NEBuffer 1.1.Requires two copies of its recognition sequence for cleavage to occur.
