Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) encompass a family of type I transmembrane tyrosine kinases, which undergo dimerization and phosphorylation after ligand binding. FGFRs are of therapeutic value given their involvement in tumourigenesis. Four distinct genes encoding closely related FGFRs, FGFR1‑4, have been identified. Alternatively-spliced variants that encode different protein isoforms of each of the 4 FGFR proteins include the following subset: FGFR1c, FGFR2b, FGFR2c, FGFR3b, FGFR3c and FGFR4. Using phage display technology, we identified specific binders against human targets that correspond to each of the above 6 isoforms. This FGFR family panel will allow researchers to profile each indicated FGFR isoform without cross-reacting to the other using Flow Cytometry and ELISA.
