Bst DNA polymerase, Large fragment is the portion of the Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase protein that contains the 5’ → 3’ polymerase activity but lacks 5’ → 3’ exonuclease activity. Bst DNA polymerase, Large fragment is purified from an E. coli strain as a recombinant.

Enzyme activities: Modified to retain 5´ → 3´ polymerase activity while lacking 5´ →3´ exonuclease activity. 

Storage buffer: 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 50mM KCl, 1mM DTT, 0.1mM EDTA-NaOH (pH8.0), 0.1% Triton X-100, 50% Glycerol

Recommended reaction temperature: 55 to 65°C

Purity: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)

DNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 20U enzyme and pUC19 plasmid at 37°C, 1hr)

RNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 20U enzyme and Human total RNA at 37°C, 1hr) 

Activity test: Correspond to reference (LAMP assay with λ phage DNA).

Stability: 24 months at -20°C
