Specificity:
INHIBITION PROPERTIES: Inhibits approximately 80% of the ethoxyresorufin O-deethylase activity of human liver microsomes at a concentration of 10 mg IgG/nmol P450.
WESTERN BLOTS: recognizes a band (P450 1A2) in human liver microsomes. Reactive with ≥ 0.2 µg of recombinant human P450 1A2. Only slightly cross-reacts with recombinant human P450 1A1 after prolonged incubation. Does not cross-react with recombinant human cytochromes P450 2E1, 3A4, or 2C10.
Applications: Inhibition assay or Western blots.
Contents: 0.5 mL of purified goat IgG.
Concentration: 10 mg/mL in 20 mM Phosphate buffer (pH 8.0).
Working Dilution: A dilution of 1/2000 for Western blots will yield a positive result with ≥0.2 µg of recombinant human cytochrome P450 IA2 using alkaline phosphatase-conjugated anti-goat IgG secondary antibody according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Storage: Store at -20°C. Do not freeze and thaw repeatedly. Refreezing the product may result in a loss of activity.
