Gemini’s BPE is made from fresh, unfrozen glands to ensuremaximal mitogenic response. It is not lyophilized, as thisprocess has been shown to reduce biological activity. Thisproduct is an aqueous extract formulated at 14 mg/mL crudeprotein.Growth tests on human mammary epithelial cells, epidermalkeratinocytes, prostatic and bronchial epithelial cells indicatethat the optimal medium supplementation rate is 35 µg/mL.However, because this product is a complex mixture of factors,different cell types may require adjusted supplementation levels.A simple growth assay, titrating BPE into your system, may beuseful.
