TheDetectX®HydrogenPeroxide(H2O2)FluorescentDetectionKitisdesignedtoquantitativelymeasureH2O2inavarietyofsamples.Ahydrogenperoxidestandardisprovidedtogenerateastandardcurve.SamplesaremixedwiththeFluorescentSubstrateandthereactioninitiatedbyadditionofhorserADIshperoxidase.Thereactionisincubatedatroomtemperaturefor15minutes.TheHRPreactswiththesubstrateinthepresenceofhydrogenperoxidetoconvertthecolorlesssubstrateintoafluorescentproduct.Thefluorescentproductisreadat590nmwithexcitationat570nm.IncreasinglevelsofH2O2causealinearincreaseinfluorescentproduct.
