Salbutamol is an adrenergic beta-agonists which is banned for use as feed additives. The anti-Salbutamol Antibody is produced in rabbit using Salbutamol-KLH conjugates and affinity purified using Salbutamol-agarose. The purified anti-salbutamol was conjugated to peroxidase (HRP). The antibody conjugates were proved to be useful for detection and quantization of Salbutamol in direct competitive ELISA.

Affinity purified with Salbutamol on agarose followed by competitive elution with free Salbutamol.

About 2 moles of HRP linked to 1 mole of the purified antibody via reductive amination.

React specifically with Salbutamol, Cross reactivity to other beta agonist was not tested.

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is 6 months from date of shipping if stored properly.
