MAbs:
8A4, 7F2Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with Diphtheria toxoid.
Specificity:
8A4 reacts with free A-subunits of Diphtheria toxin. It does not react with the whole Diphtheria toxin and free B-subunit of Diphtheria toxin.7F2 reacts with the epitope exposed on free A-subunit and on whole Diphtheria toxin molecule. It does not react with free B-subunit of Diphtheria toxin.

IgG1 for MAb 7F2IgG2a for MAb 8A4
Applications:
Detection of Diphtheria toxin A-subunit by different immunochemical techniques.Recommend pair for sandwich immunoassay (capture-detection): 8A4 – 7F2.
