ProteoGuard EDTA-Free Protease Inhibitor Cocktail은 lysis buffer에 곧바로 첨가할 수 있는 100 x stock의 protease inhibitor로 endogenous proteases로부터 protein 분해를 방지한다. Lysis buffer 1ml 당 100X protease inhibitor cocktail 10 ul를 첨가하여 사용한다. EDTA-free 제품으로 추가적인 gel filteration 과정없이 IMAC resin에 곧바로 lysate를 적용할 수 있다.

ProteoGuard EDTA-Free Protease Inhibitor Cocktail는 cell lysate로부터 protein extraction하는 과정에 endogenous proteases로부터protein이 파괴되는 것을 방지하도록 최적화된 protease inhibitors로 구성되어 있다.

● Protein purification
◎ This protease inhibitor mix is compatible with IMAC resins such as TALON Co resin, His60 Ni Superflow resin,
GST purification resin &other commercially available resins for recombinant protein purification
◎ Protects proteins from degradation by suppressing proteolysis
◎ Preserves protein biological activity by preventing degradation
● Suppression of proteolysis in detergent-based cell lysis reagents
◎ xTractor Buffer lysis reagents
◎ Other commercially or in-house formulated cell or tissue lysis buffers
● Inhibition of protease activity from lysates produced by other lysis methods
◎ Sonication, French press, alumina tissue extraction, blender homogenization, or repetitive freeze/thaw cycling.
