RULEOFTHUMB:AlwaysselecttheSMALLESTsizepipetthatwillhandlethevolumeyouwishtomovetoachievethegreatestaccuracy.Accuracydecreasesasyouuseunnecessarilylargepipetsforsmallvolumes.

Theplungerhastwostops,thefirstbeingtheloadvolume,thesecondfordischargevolume.Thesepipetorsusethesamesmallyellowtips(yellowororangeboxes)asusedforP200andsmallerGilsonautopipets.Thetipejectorisadarkgraybuttonnearthetopofthehandgrip(seediagrambelow).
