1. Research Technologist (Antibody Development)

Duties:
Responsible for developing antibodies and proteins by conventional and recombinant methods, and transition from basic research to tech transfer, launch and technical support.
Design experiments for multiple projects related to recombinant cell line expression and screening with input from Supervisor.
Design and optimize protocols for expression, purification, and characterization of antibodies and/or other proteins.
Generate intellectual property, assist in writing patents, evaluate new technologies.
Adheres to company Quality program requirement.
Qualifications:
PhD or MSc (or equivalent) with 1-4 years direct experience working with antibodies and/or other recombinant proteins.
Experience with different immunization methodologies (e.g. native or engineered antigen over-expressing cells, cell membranes, DNA immunization, MAP system).
Well-versed in methods for generating and screening clonal cell lines expressing recombinant antibodies or other proteins.
Proven ability in expression and purification of antibodies or other proteins (experience with large-scale production an asset).
Skilled in protein characterization methods.
Works well in a team.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

2. Marketing Specialist

Duties:
Seek out and secure new opportunities turning them into new contracts.
Implement and follow up on all targeted marketing campaigns.
Create market reports and make recommendations on future business development tactics.
Leverage personnel, marketing resources, existing client relationships and professional networks in the development of new business opportunities
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
An entrepreneurial spirit and innovative creative-mind.
Extremely organized with superb work ethic.
Excellent sales and negotiating skills.
Proficient communication and writing skills in English (a second language would be an asset) to develop targeted copy that is concise and persuasive for campaigns, web content and other marketing communications.
A post-secondary degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or relevant major
