Description: pAb IgG fraction purified from rabbit serum immunized with rgp120 HIV-1 MN

Purification: This pAb IgG was purified by protein-A affinity chromatography to >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced.

Specificity: This pAb IgG binds to native and recombinant HIV-1 gp120/gp160 in ELISA and Western ELISA.

Biological Activity: This pAb IgG neutralizes HIV-1 as determined by syncycium assays using infected CD4 bearing cells and human PBL co-cultures.

Application and Instructions for use:

Recommended dilutions for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. This pAb IgG yields titres of greater than 1 : 2000 with 100ng of immobilized gp120 (ImmunoDx Product# 1001) under standard ELISA conditions. Western ELISA may be performed at 1-2µg/ml of pAb depending on the nature and quantity of the immobilized antigen. Histochemical studies require pAb in 1 : 200 dilution range. This antibody does not cross-react with other human or animal proteins.
