Description:
CENXp/CENYq CISH Probe is designed for the qualitative detection of human chromosome X and chromosome Y alpha satellites in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens by chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH).
The probe is intended to be used in combination with the CISH Implementation Kit 2 (Catalog #: KA5366), which provides necessary reagents for specimen pretreatment and post-hybridization processing.
Reagent Provided:1. Dinitrophenyl-labeled polynucleotides targeting sequences mapping in Xp11.1-q11.1 specific for the alpha satellite centromeric region DXZ1 of chromosome X.2. Digoxigenin-labeled polynucleotides targeting sequences mapping in Yp11.1-q11.1 specific for the alpha satellite centromeric region DYZ3 of chromosome Y.3. Formamide based hybridization buffer.
