Source:
Pooled normal human serum.Blood samples from donors were tested and found to be negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, and HCV.
Applications:
Myeloperoxidase free serum can be used for preparation of human myeloperoxidase standards and calibrators.
Analysis:
No detectable amounts of human myeloperoxidase.
Purification:
Affinity chromatography of pooled normal human serum.Gel for affinity column was prepared by coupling anti-myeloperoxidase monoclonal antibodies (several monoclonal antibodies with different epitope specificity) with BrCN-activated Sepharose CL 4B.
Presentation:
Frozen liquid.
Storage Conditions:
-20 °C (between -15 and -30 °C allowed)
