ALZET pumps are miniature delivery systems designed to provide constant, accurate administration of test agents. These self-powered pumps offer a convenient and efficient method for long-term dosing of mice and rats. Pumps are sold empty, and are easily filled with your test agent via syringe. Self-powered pumps are then implanted either subcutaneously or intraperitoneally. Twelve pump models offer a range of release rates and durations to meet your specific research needs. Continuous delivery of up to 4 weeks is feasible with a single pump, and even longer durations can be achieved through serial implantation of pumps.
