At GenDEPOT Fetal Bovine Serum is collectedasepticallyfrom the unborn fetus of Adult Bovinebroughtto slaughter.The serum is separatedaseptically fromthe blood ofthe fetus which isallowed to spontaneouslyclot.
The raw serum is stored frozen at -20oC or below unitprocessed by aseptic filtration. 100% of the serum iscollected from USDA licensed abbatoirs located withinthe US.
The animals are inspected by a licensed veterinarianpre and post slaughter and are certified free ofdiseasesof clawed animals. The sera is kept underquarantineina USDA approved facility until testedand releasedfor saleby USDA. Material is processedin an FDAregistered facilityunder cGMP.
