Product Introduction: SOX2 is a transcription factor that forms a trimeric complex with OCT4 on DNA and controls the expression of a number of genes involved in embryonic development such as YES1, FGF4, UTF1 and ZFP206. SOX4 is important for early embryogenesis and for embryonic stem cell pluripotency.Product Description: SOX2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 317 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 34.3kDa. The SOX2 is fused to a C-terminal poly-arginine tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Reconstitution and Storage:
SOX2 Human Recombinant although stable at 4C for 1 week, should be stored below -18C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Formulation:
The SOX2 solution (0.15mg/ml) contains 20mM PBS.
Purification:
Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by SEC-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
