The human IL-1α ELISA^BASIC kit is ideal for users who want the flexibility of setting up their own ELISA assay. This product enables quantification of human IL-1α in solution, e.g. in cell culture supernatant. The kit contains a matched pair of monoclonal capture and detection antibodies, Streptavidin-ALP, ELISA standard and standard reconstitution buffer. Plates and substrate are not included.

The assay is specific for human IL-1α (pro-form and active form) and shows no cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1β or IL-18.

IL-1αInterleukin-1α (IL-1α, also known as hematopoietin 1, Interleukin-1alpha, IL-1 alpha, IL1α and Interleukin-1 alpha) is a proinflammatory cytokine and inducer of acute phase responses.
