Enterokinase is a serine protease with specificity for cleavage after the lysine residue in the sequence Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys.  LifeSensors enterokinase CD is produced recombinantly in E. coli, purified, and refolded for use as a counterscreen with the UBL-CHOP2 assay suite.
