Description	ThehumanTransforminggrowthfactorbeta-1(TGFb1)KitisasandwichELISA.ThecaptureantibodyisamonoclonalTGFb1antibodypre-coatedontothe96-wellstripplatesprovidedinthekit.HumantestsamplesandstandardsofknownTGFb1concentrationareaddedtothesewellsandallowedtocomplexwiththeboundTGFb1antibody.AbiotinylatedTGFb1polyclonalantibodyisthenadded.Thisdetectionantibodybindstotheantigenthuscompletingthesandwich.Afterwashing,anenzymeAvidin-Biotin-Peroxidasecomplex(ABC)isaddedwhichbindstothesecondantibody.TheperoxidasesubstrateTMBisaddedtoinduceacolouredreactionproduct.TheintensityofthiscolouredproductisdirectlyproportionaltotheconcentrationofTGFb1presentinthesamples.Thereiscross-reactivateswithTGFbeta2,TGFbeta3,TGFbeta5<1%. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human TGFb1 in cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma (EDTA treated only) and urine samples.
