Description

1205Lu is a metastatic human melanoma cell line established from a metastatic site (lung) in a 37 year-old male patient. 1205Lu cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice. This cell line features a BRAF V600E mutation as well as hemizygous deleted PTEN and CDK4 K22Q mutation. Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) is a gene that encodes a serine/threonine kinase. The protein functions in cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase and the activation of RB1. Missense and silent mutations are observed in cancers such as endometrial cancer, intestinal cancer, and skin cancer.This cell line is wild type for N-ras and c-KIT.Price for Non-Profit Organisation Only.
